Weezie’s Bees is owned and operated by Louise “Weezie” Johnson and her husband, Donovan. They started their apiary in the spring of 2020, finally making one of Louise’s 5 year goals come to life! Louise has always loved summertime and the outdoors, so beekeeping naturally became an interest and then passion of hers. Bees in particular have mesmerized Louise because of their calming presence, diligent hard work, and fascinating communication style. As for Donovan, his grandad was a beekeeper in Florida, so you could say beekeeping in his blood.

Donovan and Louise are high school sweethearts and have been together for over 20 years. They have 5 beautiful children who love to help with beekeeping, especially taste testing the honey!
